Collective Innovation (COLIN) is a purpose-driven innovation ecosystem founded in Oslo in 2019 by Håkon Ege. It now operates as five legally independent organisations across four countries — Norway, the Netherlands, Ireland, and Turkey — connected by a shared method and a shared editorial voice.
The ecosystem works in three long-horizon sectors: sport, space, and energy & climate. Its method has four practices: Foresight (signal scanning and scenario-building for federations and public agencies), Learn (personalised professional development programmes), Project Hub (EU-funded capacity-building, pilots and research), and Amplify (platforms and editorial properties that carry the work past its originating room).
COLIN has delivered over thirty-five EU-funded projects under Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe. In the March 2026 submission window it filed forty-two proposals across fifty-five total participations. Its Amsterdam data desk operates a sector-intelligence database of 850,000+ records across 97 tables, with Cordis integration and entity resolution on 90,000+ organisation masters. Two live editorial properties — Space Insights and Sport Insights — publish weekly to European sector audiences, without COLIN branding.
External partners include GSIC powered by Microsoft (Norway Ambassador), SI Space Industries (Italy), UEFA Innovation Hub (active dialogue), Tetis Biotech (Turkey), Norwegian Sport Tech, and IMD Lausanne.
